Strawberry Cheesecake Overnight Oats
Strawberry Cheesecake Overnight Oats is a dietician-designed breakfast built around rolled oats, reduced-fat Greek yoghurt and light cottage cheese. It's made for GLP-1 medication users managing nausea, with protein kept high and portions sized for a smaller appetite.
Ingredients
- 50 g rolled oats
- 170 g reduced-fat Greek yoghurt
- 100 g light cottage cheese
- 100 ml reduced-fat milk
- 20 g vanilla whey protein isolate
- 100 g strawberries — diced
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 piece Zest of ¼ lemon optional
- 1 piece Crushed wholegrain wheat biscuits (1–2 tbsp) for a "cheesecake base" optional
Instructions
- Blend the cottage cheese until smooth (optional but creates a cheesecake texture).
- Combine oats, protein powder and chia seeds in a container.
- Add yoghurt, cottage cheese, milk and vanilla.
- Fold through half the strawberries.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Top with remaining strawberries before serving.
